EADS For Cassidian in Manching within the department Flight Control Navigation Systems we are looking for a Head of Department for Flight Management Flight Control System Design mf. Your responsibilities will include Managing and leading the department Assisting with department projects Continually developing department processes and tools Planning and fulfilling orders according to deadlines and cost and quality requirements Producing offers including Risk Opportunity Management Being the focal point for matters related to the Flight Management System FMS and the Flight Control System FCS, both internally and externally Ensuring the technical accuracy of the development and airworthiness results in your role as airworthiness engineer Working closely with the department experts to produce a technology strategy Managing employees from a technical and a disciplinary point of view Further developing the skills of the team range of skills and depth of knowledge and ensuring the technical and personal development of employees We are looking for candidates with the following skills University degree in Aerospace EngineeringEngineering or similar Indepth experience in engineering Good knowledge of project management Team leadership experience Excellent knowledge of FMS and FCS design, of the systemsequipment related to the FMS and FCS, and of system safety Experience of relevant development and certification standards and extensive experience of civil and military certification Familiarity with appropriate tools e.g. DOORS, etc. Negotiation level in English and German If you are interested in this position, please apply though our OnlineTool www.jobs.eads.com and attach your application in German or English.
