EADS For EADS Headquarters in Munich Ottobrunn within the department Intellectual Property Management we are looking for the Head of IP Operation BU Services mf. Your responsibilities will include Heading a team, including patent attorneys, patent engineers and paralegals, for securing IP operations for EADS Business Units BUs Ensuring financing via Service Level Agreements to be negotiated with BUs Performing budget planning and cost monitoring Representing EADS and the BUs with respect to national and regional Patent and Trademark Authorities DPMA, BPatG, EPO, WIPO and OHIM Protecting, defending and enforcing IP rights for IP service customers Supporting the definition of the IP strategy for IP service customers, implementing the IP strategy and strategic portfolio management Liaising with IP stakeholders for IP service customers Ensuring IP contract work for ensuring the best legal positions Supporting licensing activities Protecting and securing EADS trademarks and domain names Coordinating, optimising and standardising cooperation with external patent attorneys Developing internal IP processes and managing internal electronic patent administration and search tools Memotech and PatentPilot Handling all requirements in accordance with German law on employee inventions, including inventor remuneration and dispute resolution Representing CTOEBIPOD in the EADS IP Council We are looking for candidates with the following skills Degree in engineering, physics or science with a European Patent Attorney and German Patent and Trademark Attorney qualification Extensive experience within a patent department of an industrial company or a private patent firm Ability and experience working in teams in an international environment, high degree of integrity and very good communication and leadership skills, and experience of working abroad Fluent negotiation level in German and English, French would be a plus If you are interested in this position, please apply though our OnlineTool www.jobs.eads.com and attach your application in German or English.
