The Montmorency-Oscoda-Alpena Solid Waste Authority recently conduct testing at an Atlanta, Mich. landfill and discovered high levels of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Michigan officials lowered the acceptable amounts of PFAS to 8
