(Telecompaper) Huawei reported revenues of CNY 395 billion in 2015, up 37 percent year-on-year and its largest revenue growth since 2008, driven by smartphone sales and widespread 4G network rollout. The China-based company said its Carrier, Enterprise and Consumer segments all achieved strong year-on-year growth, increasing by 21 percent, 44 percent and 73 percent respectively. The Carrier division was boosted by global adoption of 4G technology while the Enterprise group experienced rapid growth in the public safety, finance, transportation and energy sectors. The performance of the Consumer division, meanwhile, was a direct result of increased global demand for the company's products, said Huawei, above all the 100 million-plus smartphone shipments in 2015, a 44 percent annual rise.
