RHEA Group is currently recruiting an ICT and Security Engineer for our clients in Frascati, Italy. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Management of ICT and Cyber Security projects. Requirements collection, design and implementation of ICT and security solutions. Perform the technical evaluation of different solutions. Evaluate new solution for the improvement of the EO data disseminationprocessing needs, bring innovation to the basic infrastructure by investigating emerging technologies that enhance the ICT and security infrastructure and the corresponding portfolio of services. Study new architectures applicable to the Earth Observation Network and Security infrastructure and optimization of the use of resources deployed. Support the integration of the PDGS into the EO networks in compliance with the agreed Mission and System requirements, including security issues, and considering the internal and external interfaces. Engineering support for different MissionsProgrammes under preparation or already in operation, and the management support in operation and development of third party services. Monitor, assess and report on the providers performance and deliverables. Review, enforce, assess and verify the compliance of PDGS network and security design with the applicable EOPG Network Security Framework including policies, requirements, procedures. Support possible migrations to new service providers. Identify areas of improvement. Provide supporting analysis and documentation in the framework of its activities. Deliver reports, procedure and other requested documentation. Support ESA in the management of the EOP Data Centre Capacity, Performance Operations and Maintenance. Support ESA in the management of EOP Data Centre interfaces and activities. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have a University degree or equivalent qualification in Telecommunication Engineering or Computer science with experience in ICT and Security Architecture Design, Operational Network Services. You have demonstrated experience in Project Management. You have several years of experience and a significant industrial background in one or more of the following domains communications, security design, specification and procurement of services from the market, secure operations, telecommunication systems design including substantial experience in Earth Observation missions ground segment engineering, Data Centre Management. You have a good understanding of ICT and services WAN, LAN, email, name server applications, etc., security architectures e.g. virtual private networks, strongauthentication mechanisms, intrusion detection and prevention, content inspection, firewall. You are familiar with the latest generation of network and security methodology and technologies and knowledge of the research and education networks. You have experience with virtualization platforms. You are familiar with the management of data Centre. You are familiar with cloudbased service provisioning and technologies. You are familiar with most relevant security standards, including ISO27000. You are a team player and proactive to solve problems You have relevant security or networking certifications for the scope of work package. Cisco certifications CCNA, CCDA, CCIE, CCNP are considered an asset. Network Local Area Networking LAN, Wide Area Networking WAN technologies Experience with Cisco ACI is considered an asset Internet Protocols such as TCPIP, UDP, RIP, OSPF, BGP, SIP, SNMP, IPSec, SSL, TLS How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
