We are currently looking for an IF Harness Electrical Engineer to support our customer in Germany. IF Harness Electrical Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the Electrical Systems Team, you will work on space programs during the phases BCD in cooperation with supports, partners and subcontractors. You will have central responsibility for the work packages Electrical Interfaces and Harness incl. deliveries of the related items documentation, models, and hardware with the following tasks Point of contact towards the customer and suppliers for all El. IF and Harness aspects Coordination of supporting work packages tracking of relevant design and MAIT activities support to AIT Activities Analysis of the applicable customer and mission requirements Flow down of upper level requirements to the El. IF and Harness requirements Contributions to the electrical architecture definition for el. IF Issuing and maintenance of the relevant documentation such as the GDIR, EICD and the Harness Requirements Specification applicable within the program and to manufacturers Support to other el. disciplines for el. IF matters, coengineering with and support of suppliers in el. IF design and verification if required Harness definition using the tool Engineering Base by Aucotec including definition of functional and physical electrical wiring Definition of the geometrical harness design in cooperation with mechanical engineering Performance or coordination of the relevant analyses such as voltage drop, cableconnector derating, mass estimation. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in Electrical Engineering Work experience in the above mentioned tasks and responsibilities Extensive space electronics design and manufacturing experience is great asset Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of German is an advantage.
