Specific Tasks and Responsibilities On boarding and Support to end users The following specific tasks shall be carried out Provide technical support to the HIF adoption teams and new users on the esacloud service portfolio and advice which service best suits the customer needs Provide support to customers to DeployCreate vApps VMs either using goesacloud or v Cloud Director interface based on agreed customer needs from public catalogue templates or provided media files upon request Provide support to customers or their providers to install applications within dedicated V Ms or containers Configure and modify VApp network settings based on customer needs Restart V Ms v Apps in cooperation with end user after incidents which resulted in a cloud platform unavailability Modify VM resources not configurable through the goesacloud interface. Administrative support to the goesacloud interface Monitor and manage the goesacloud infrastructure Support and update Operating System and app Templates Take over the role of organisation administrator for the v Cloud Director organisations supporting goesacloud Perform organisation capacity management and performance management using tool v Center Operations as well as OBS monthly report which outlines capacity performance of the managed organisation. Expansion of the goesacloud service Agile expansion of the goesacloud platform to cover additional services as they become available, such as BaaS NetBackup, Object Storage Isilon Storage and Disaster Recovery Zerto Develop PoCs based on open source tools for new or improved services Expand the service portfolio to include managed operating system service. Experience and education Understanding of cloud infrastructures and technologies Experience on Automation and DevOps tools, e.g Ansible Software development, python, golang, and shell scripting Demonstrated use Web development technologies, both backend and front end Administrative experience of Operating Systems, Windows, Red Hat, SLES Management of orchestrators and container technologies e.g Docker, Swarm, Kubernetes and openshift At least 5 years experience with service delivery in the areas of Servers hardware, operating systems Virtualisation services Security Independent with the ability to use own initiative Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines Strong focus on customer service.
