Position Reference 160 You will have the opportunity to provide support to the CESAR Cooperation through Education in Science and Astronomy Research educational program. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Development and maintenance of all CESAR educational SW framework maintenance of the CESAR web pages and content management SW support for the development of interactive Scientific educational cases maintenance of CESAR infrastructure SW e.g. control room monitoring system educational tools etc. ensure security standards are duly applied to all CESAR SW associated developments manage CESAR database system development and maintenance of CESAR educational management software tools calendar tools web administration tools, databases Web interface for schools etc. IT support and hardware coordination for CESAR programme configuration and maintenance of computers and related hardware for the CESAR project CESAR Control Rooms computers 3D printer 3D projector, network hubs, wall monitors, educational computers for training etc. maintain CESAR regular inventory CESAR telescopes Webcams network maintenance Multimedia content creation for CESAR Education support the creation of a CESAR Interactive School by supporting the creation of APP and webbased interactive educational tools based on CESAR developed scientific cases configure and manage CESAR hangout sessions for teachers workshops continuous assessment of new potential technologies for innovative education initiatives e.g. virtual reality augmented reality robotics 3D printing etc. CESAR Community manager coordinatorsupervisor coordinate the development of CESAR promotional Multimedia image and videos. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have a Technical Degree Bsc., Diploma or equivalent from a recognised Institution or equivalent. You have experience in software programming, notably using JAVA, C, Visual Studio, APP developments IOS Android, Arduino and Web design. You have experience in educational projects, notably for primary and secondary schools. You have sound knowledge and experience in Multimedia edition Videos production, postproduction, image processing, CAD design, web 2.0, JavaScript, augmented reality,. You are proficient in the use of Linux, Windows and iOS. You have excellent organisation skills for projects execution and associated documentation. You are fluent in English and Spanish.
