Intended for emergency room, operating room, bedside, and wheel chair X-ray exams, Virtual Grid intelligently adapts contrast to improve image quality for exams that are taken without grid. Product analyzes image for scatter effect based on exam menu and selected parameters and offers automated and selectable grid ratios to further adapt image quality to site preferences. Use of Virtual Grid also eliminates artifacts typical from misalignment of tube to detector/grid angle.
