Inflation in Emerging Countries (Monthly Report)

Inflation rates have not moved in the past month in low-cost countries with a fragile balance having been found so far between the need for fighting inflation on one side and for supporting a slowing down economic growth on the other side. Consumer prices have strikingly surged however, when expressed in UK pound terms. Our monthly report offers a comparison of inflation rates in low-cost countries, with historical data available back to June 2007. Impact of currency changes vs the US dollar and the euro is also calculated to assess real terms of trade for exporters.
