Inflation in Emerging Countries (Monthly Report)

2018-12-04 19:25:58| EmergingTextiles.com

Consumer prices are still under control in emerging countries, with however Egypt, Turkey and now Pakistan experiencing higher higher inflation rates than average. Pakistan is now confronted with a financial crisis after the rupee has sharply dropped this year and the central bank has been forced significantly raising its benchmark interest rate. Our monthly report offers a comparison of inflation rates in low-cost countries, with historical data available back to June 2007. Impact of currency changes vs the US dollar, the euro and the Sterling is also calculated to assess real terms of trade for exporters.
