The Position This position is for our client, the Deutsche Flugsicherung DFS, based in Langen Frankfurt am Main. Your role will be to provide expert support in the areas of server hardware, data centre storage, virtualisation, failover clusters, and others. You will be based onsite for some of the time, but will additionally need to be able to work from home. Your German language skills, both spoken and written, should be flawless. It is fulltime and permanent and expected starting date will be earliest September 2020. The roles needs you to work in a structured and selfreliant fashion, as well as being able to communicate clearly with colleagues. QualificationsExperience A university degree in aerospace, informatics, mathematics, physics or equivalent Expert understanding of server hardware, data centres store, virtualisation Good experience of related issues such as network infrastructure, Microsoft VMM SCCM, NetBackup Required technical skills The selected candidate will be an expert in the matter of Failover Cluster operation Windows Server A good grounding in the area of NetBackup is needed in this role, in conjunction with HyperV Proven expertise in virtualisation Microsoft HyperV, S2D Cluster Expert knowledge of Server hardware is a must An expert level of knowledge of Data Centre Storage Storage Spaces, Scale Out File Server in connection with Windows Server 2019 can you offer this? A basic knowledge of network infrastructure TCPIP and base protocols such as DNSDHCP, NTO etc is the absolute minimum, but candidates with an authoritative knowledge of the subject matter are preferred You should also possess knowledge of Microsoft VMM and SCCM Knowledge of Icinga Monitoring is also called for Do you have expertlevel PowerShell skills in conjunction with the above listed products the role needs this knowledge!
