To optimize visual coverage, FDAz simultaneously employs 9 cameras: one orthogonal and 8 side capturing. Side cameras, with 45° angled view, 10 micron resolution, and Tilt-Shift optics technology, reduce image distortion, while moveable head in Z-axis brings objects into optimal focus and position independent of PCB thickness/warping. Defect visibility is also optimized via HD 18.75 or 10 micron resolution top camera with Telecentric optics and multiplexed 8x CameraLink side camera technology.
