ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY 6month internship, starting in JulyAugust 2020. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Asset Management Capacity Analytics team in a fastpaced, global organization within an innovative and unique industry. Based in the Hague, you will be involved in all aspects of developing BI dashboards and apps including data acquisition, data wrangling, modelling, through to visualization. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Develop visuals in Power BI, with focus on polygon geomapping functionality using existing visuals or using custom visuals SDK Support department data acquisition, and drive analytics and dashboard Beta Testing for new data sources as they become available to our department Investigate process, define and develop logic to support full automation of monthly departmental reporting Design and implementation of master landing dashboard for Asset Management Enhance inventory reporting and capacity planning reporting, including a focus on prediction models and comparison to actual data Manage our departments selfservice BI roll out, including managing user access to dashboards, data dictionary, user quick start guidecheat sheets. YOUR PROFILE Current and advanced student in Computer Science Bachelors or Masters degree or related field Strong development skills including R andor Python Knowledge of Power BI and TypeScript is a plus Excellent analytical skills, experience with data analysis and database SQL knowledge High level of accuracy and attention to details Excellent communication written and verbal and interpersonal skills Fluency in spoken and written English with additional languages considered an asset EU nationality or work permit for Netherlands.
