Internship Group Financial Reporting Luxembourg Betzdorf Context 6month internship, starting in September 2018 This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Group Financial Reporting GFR team in a fastpaced, global organization within an innovative and unique industry. Based in Betzdorf, you will contribute to the monthly generation and analysis of the financial results of the SES group. Your responsibilities Working with the GFR team, you will review the financial submissions by SES subsidiaries, ensuring their completeness and that specific quality workflow checks have been performed. Also clarifying and addressing any open matters with the relevant Finance team members across the group. You will be involved in certain steps of the monthly group consolidation process for example the intercompany reconciliations, analysis of cash flows, and analytical reviews of specific financial information. You will help to run standard controls across the groups financial results in order to ensure that the consolidated financial results are complete, correct and properly stated. You may also join in with the preparation of financial reporting documents such as internal reporting to senior management and the Board, or the drafting of external regulatory financial reporting documents such as financial statements. You may also be involved in other GFR projects such as system and process development. Your profile Being an advanced Bachelor Master student in AccountingFinance Strong interest in the mediatelecommunication business and technical interest in satellites Good analytical and judgment skills Ability to set priorities and to work under tight deadlines Computer literate MS PowerPoint, Excel, Access Work independently as well as in a team Friendly, clear, and effective communication style both by verbally and in writing Fluency in spoken and written English with additional languages considered an asset.
