A vacancy has arisen for a Junior IT Security Analyst with Astrium in Stevenage. The successful candidate will work in both Commercial UK Government environments. Training will be given as part of this role both onthejob and formal courses. You will report hierarchically to the UK IT Security Manager but may have functional reporting lines to other members of the IT Security function both in the UK and Europe. There is an expectation of travel between UK sites and the possibility of occasional European travel. The successful candidate will be subject to security clearance in order to undertake related work in accordance with business needs. The key responsibilities of the role are as follows Support Call Management Security Administration o Reviewing alerts and alarms o Reviewing Security Advisories o URL Filters o etc Working with team members on Policy and Processes Daily Checks Reviews on Security Intelligence Contributing and maintaining security content on internal intranetblogs Contribute to Astrium UK User Awareness Program. And many more exciting things as time progresses The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience Degree or equivalent relevant discipline with a good degree of security content preferred Interest in cyber security Knowledge of at least 1 modern programming language is desirable Ability to communicate interact appropriately for the target audience FrenchGerman or Spanish language skills are an asset but not mandatory as business is conducted in English.
