INSYEN AG is based at the German Space Operations Center GSOC in Oberpfaffenhofen, 25 km west of Munich, Germany. We currently have 52 employees andprovide engineering services related to manned and unmanned spaceflight operations in the areas of project and subcontractor management, ground systems engineering and management, LAN and WAN design and implementation, system security and data encryption, system databases, command and telemetry systems, voice and video systems, system management and operation, spacecraft systems monitoring and control and realtime space operations. Furthermore our software engineers are working on a 3D Visualisation and Simulation Software which is e.g. used for remote sensing, sensor simulations and virtual training. We are looking to strengthen our team with the addition of one or more Junior Software Developers The area of work will be in the maintenance and further development of bespoke simulation systems Start date Immediately Requirements degree in Software Engineering or equivalent qualification Programming experience with o Java required o C required o Lua advantageous o OpenGL advantageous o Open Scene Graph advantageous o 3DSMax experience advantageous Knowledge of the Agile Development Methodology Familiarity with Eclipse, Subversion, TRAC advantageous Good team and presentation skills for interdiscipline interaction in an international environment Fluent in written and spoken English German would be an asset The general scope of duties will include the following tasks maintenance and further enhancement of existing JAVA applications maintenance and further enhancement of existing plugins written in CLUA documentation of said tools where required software version control using subversion customer interaction to discuss requirements, recommend alternative implementations etc. customer support configuration management of software deliveries software installation and testing Please send your application, your up to date CV and your salary requirements to INSYEN AG Attn.
