Junior Web Specialist Luxembourg Betzdorf As part of the web team within Marketing Communications Operations, you will be responsible for managing the content updates on the SES websites. An important part of the role consists of coordinating internal stakeholders and external agencies, to manage expectations and to ensure that all website content is kept up to date and within guidelines. You will contribute to the optimisation of the web content and raise, track, test development requests to the external web agencies. We are looking for a junior web specialist, who is ready to take accountability for everything you do and willing to grow your level of responsibility! PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and prioritise the internal requests for page creation and content updates in Drupal Take ownership and accountability for the website maintenance tickets which are sent to the external web agency Adhere to the design and brand guidelines and take responsibility for the consistency in look and feel across the website Gain a solid understanding of our SEO content guidelines and provide advice to the content creators when necessary Understand the importance of the user journey and pay attention to the purpose and goals defined for each page Take responsibility for the onpage conversion rate by choosing the most engaging layout options emphasising the appropriate calls to action Support the web manager with larger web projects Carry out quality control and testing for all site updates Regularly review and improve existing processes based on best practices COMPETENCIES Customer Focus determined to meet or exceed customer expectations, develop client relationships built on trust as well as delivering the appropriate solutions Resilience deals effectively with conflicting priorities from various internal customers remains optimistic and persistent Selfstarter takes initiative and proactively identifies ways to contribute to SES goals and missions Accountability holds self and others accountable for individual and team results, accepts responsibility for mistakes Problem Solving this involves using past professional or technical training and experience, creativity, inductive reasoning QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE Degree in business, Marketing, or Computer Science or and equivalent combination of education and experience providing a comparable level of expertise Some previous experience with using Content Management Systems. Working knowledge of Drupal Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS required Understand the importance of a company brand Ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural, multinational environment, and build relationships across functions Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Photoshop and Illustrator is considered an asset Fluency in English.
