LSE Space GmbH is looking for a Software Engineer mfd to work within the Software Engineering Team in our headquarters office close to MunichGermany to support the Maintenance Team on the Galileo Ground Segment Level 2 software maintenance. The core L2 maintenance tasks will be Support to AIV campaigns for the Galileo Ground Control Segment Definition of test documentation including maintenance of the documentation Support to the preparation and execution of the NonRegression System Validation Test Campaigns Support the operations team and the other maintenance teams Level 1 and Level 3 for problem management, system restoration, vulnerability management and handling of security incidents Provide inputs to Service Asset and Configuration Management activities, including maintaining the configuration via the provided tools Support all milestone reviews related to the handover of the L2L3 maintenance activities Support the design of endtoend integrated maintenance and troubleshooting environments for Galileo systems Provision of inputs to the release strategy for minor and major evolutions of the GCS infrastructure Academic requirements a University or similar degree in computer science, engineering or similar discipline. Skills Familiar with IT systems, like webbased applications and server hardware Experience on application deployment on Linux systems Basic knowledge in languages such as Java, C, C or Python Experience with databases desirable Systemminded and a team player Able to work in an interdisciplinary team Experience in ground system AIV campaigns and in ground system operations is a plus Selfstarter, able to work independently with little or no supervision in a small team Fluent in English, both in speech and writing German language skills would be a plus Benefits A permanent employment contract.
