We are currently looking for a LEO Configuration Management Support to support our customer in Germany. LEO Configuration Management Support Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the Information Management and Configuration Management Competence Area at EUMETSAT, you will have the following responsibilities Managing the documentation under configuration control according to the agreed procedures and supporting the release of relevant configuration listsreports Prepare and convene the meetings, analyse the proposed engineering changes, prepare the relevant Minutes of Meeting, and notify the external entities as necessary Follow up the change process with the related action items, to ensure timely information availability on the status of changes Track versions of hardware and software items and documentation according to the evolution of the configured items Verify hardware and software configuration status by performing configuration audits Support the drafting, review and update of the Product Documentation Trees, generate and maintain the Configuration Item lists. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and proven significant experience University degree in computer science or engineering Specifying, reviewing and implementing Configuration Management CM plans, processes and working practices, or CM support to programmes or projects in development Project development methodologies, and in particular in CM including the definition or review source code CM requirements, control of configuration evolutions of systems Configuration management tools e.g. Serena Dimensions CM, Jira or Clearcase or business process management tools electronic workflows Software development on a medium or large size project as well as process modelling tools and techniques CM, QA or Project Management standard e.g. ISO, ANSI, ECSS, CMMI Planning, developing and implementing training sessions andor coaching sessions to users and stakeholders related to CM Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
