LIRR deal could cost $200M in raises: documents

A deal reached Thursday to avert a Long Island Rail Road strike will cost the Metropolitan Transportation Authority in the neighborhood of an extra $200M if it is also applied to the authority's other commuter railroad, Metro-North, according to an estimate based on MTA financial documents.
