Position Reference 442 You will have the opportunity to provide engineering support for the Ariane 6 project at the European Space Agencys headquarters. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Launch System AIT definition and control of measurement plans in test requirements and execution, definition of technical specifications for the procurement of specific ground measurement acquisition and storage equipment. Electrical interfaces schematics integration and analysis, electrical performances analyses e.g. power supply transient and steadystate analyses, measurement accuracy, others. System EMC verifications groundingbonding quality measurement, CECS, RERS. Realtime systems modelling, analysis, specification and troubleshooting. Computers for realtime onboard applications, both as selfcontained units and as embedded items in subsystem equipment. The work includes system design for faulttolerant computer systems, component design and development, operating systems, and identification of tools and methods for dependable specification, design and testing. Data systems for onboard data communication, spacecraft system operation under ground control and with onboard autonomy, groundonboard data communication, and for manned spaceflight crew informatics and interfaces. This includes data system standards and specific software, e.g. data communication software. Data storage, i.e. onboard solidstate mass memory systems, including architecture, components, interfaces, packaging technologies, and operational usage. Electronic design essentially for the implementation of digital functions related to onboard data systems. Payload data acquisition and processing chains, including digital and image processing techniques and devices. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have a PhD or Msc Engineering from a recognised Institution of secondary studies University, Ecole suprieure, etc. or equivalent. You have a good knowledge of electrical systems architectures of a launch system. You have a good knowledge of TTE protocol and its implementation. You have a good knowledge of main serial data exchange protocols and endtoend wired measurement chains. You have an understanding of main Launch System RF communications. You have proven experience in equipment procurement, subsystems integration and testing. You have demonstrated experience in spacecraft project support in particular related to spacecraft data handling. You have a good knowledge of the space environment, related standards and space quality requirements. How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
