Lawsuit trial to begin in death of El Paso police officer

Testimony is expected to begin today in a $30-million lawsuit filed by the parents of an El Paso police officer who was killed when he tried to remove a ladder on Interstate 10 in East El Paso in 2012. Elsa Silex Garcia and Miguel Angel Garcia are suing Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc., and Harvey Richard Hall, the driver of the company's semi-truck that allegedly caused the collision in which Officer Miguel Angel Garcia Jr. died.
