Operating at 23 µA, MAX17048 automatically detects when battery enters low-current state and switches into low-power 4 µA hibernate mode, while still providing accurate fuel gauging. ModelGauge™ algorithm provides state of charge and compensates for temperature and load variation. Available in 0.9 x 1.7 mm WLP and 2 x 2 mm TDFN packages, gauge is suitable for portable battery-powered applications, such as smartphones, wireless handsets, and mobile accessories.
