Moving stepper forcer suits applications with acceleration from 0.5&ndash;1.5 m/sec and payloads of <1 kg. While operation is possible under open loop control using 2-phase microstepping driver, stage can also be operated under closed-loop using linear encoder and motion control electronics package.
