For one of our customers we are currently recruiting a MAIT Engineer for their location in Bremen, Germany. This company is using its long heritage in the European space industry to develop the nextgeneration European launchers and manned space vehicles. Tasks and Responsibilities In this position you will be responsible for performing assembly, integration and test activities of electrical and electronic space components. Specific tasks include Definition and creation of assembly sequences and execution of mechanical pre and final assembly of electrical and electronic space components, taking into account the time, cost and quality specifications Execution of necessary functional tests, using the appropriate test equipment Root cause analysis and corrective measures in consultation with the involved departments Documentation of technical data, like measurement results, implemented mounting deviations etc. Forwarding of test and fault reports to the affected areas. Experience and Education University degree in Aerospace engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent At least 2 years of experience in AIT of space systems Good knowledge of MS Office Independent, structured and resultoriented work to achieve objectives on time Strong communication skills to cooperate with counterparts at all levels A high degree of persuasiveness and assertiveness to the respective interests Willingness to travel possibility of a launch campaign in Kourou Fluency in English. German and French are a plus.
