Apparel exports from Madagascar are supported by a surge in sales to the United States, boosted by the duty-free access offered to the poorest countries in Africa. Exports to France have significantly dropped in the last years, by contrast. Our statistical series provide a comprehensive view of Madagascar's clothing exports in the 2nd quarter 2015-2019, including volume, value, and unit value changes per destination. Knit, woven, and total apparel exports are separately displayed. Data also include EU clothing imports from the country per product category, whereas a comprehensive benchmark comparison with other origins is released. All data are available for download
