Your mission One of the main tasks of the DLR GfR mbH is to operate and manage the constellation of Galileo satellites from the Galileo Control Center in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany. For the performance of tasks in the Galileo maintenance IT engineering we need your support. Responsibilities Extension planning of IT infrastructure in coordination with the GfR IT Manager Development and implementation of software interfaces to the existing IT systems in the Galileo Control Center GCC Integration of new components to the GCC hardware status monitoring system and their validation Conception of software applications in the field of infrastructure projects Testing of the Ground Control and Mission Segment systems including interface tests Implementation of software configuration changes Implementation of database modifications Development of maintenance procedures for the Ground Control and Mission Segment systems Skill Requirements Masters degree in aerospace engineering, informatics, business informatics or equivalent Longterm experience in IT and software engineering and in maintenance of servers and system components Experience in the space sector preferable Your future You can look forward to an employer who will value your engagement and who supports your development with various opportunities for further qualifications and training.
