Manager, European Institutions Luxembourg Betzdorf You will be responsible for presales, sales and postsales activities, in the context of project acquisition, product sales and recurring services opportunities. You will either be involved or lead through the process of acquisition of Requests For Proposal RFP, the identification and acquisition of service opportunities, the preparation and provision of proposals, the negotiation and the acquisition of contracts as well as the acquisition and leveraging of national and international funding in order to facilitate complex project business with a particular focus on Global Government businesses. You will also be responsible to commercialize SES Networks range of existing and future products and to manage existing customer relationships as well as subcontractors while monitoring contract execution. Your responsibilities Lead RFP answers preparation, and ensure the coordination with crossfunctional and multidisciplinary teams together with external partners or suppliers Qualify business opportunities and customers, preparemake related presentations, followup, support negotiations and execute productsolutionsupport agreements in a timely manner and by pursuing agreed company interests Proactively liaise, coordinate and support function as responsible of the SES Networks Sales Process functions in order to identify and acquire new businesses Generate revenues and backlog according to Sales Target Closely collaborate with the Regional Director, Sales, European Institutions and relevant internal and external stake holders in order to develop the Global Government ecosystem for the immediate and future benefit of SES Networks Take ownership of European Institutional customers and business opportunities, and actively promote SES Networks solutions in that field Interface with Government Luxembourg, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany as example, Governmental organizations ESA, GSA, European Commission and NGOs NonGovernmental Organisations while promoting new products services solutions Support adequate longterm relationships with Key Accounts and the relevant industry stakeholders Establish and exploit, on a nonexclusive basis, relationships with relevant industry stakeholders with the aim of providing customer solutions, with a particular focus on European Institutions business Identify and acquire new customers independently to grow opportunity funnel Prospect for new governmental and institutional business opportunities and accounts, as well as commercial Satcom opportunities Constantly screen the markets and tendering channels on relevant industry trends and feedback customer and market requirements into the organisation, with a particular focus on European Institutions business As postcommercial phase, followup on projects with customers and coordinate commercial opportunities Promote SES Networks products and services in the market, and coordinate the related marketing support as required Represent SES Networks at exhibitions, trade shows and conferences Support to Segment Market Management, Business Development and Marketing teams Support the preparation of the annual SES Networks, Global Government Operating Expenses budget Follow up and support the development of Business Plans for specific projects andor entities. Your profile Master Degree in Information and Communications Technology ICT, Electronics or equivalent andor MBA Business Management Degree Minimum a seven year experience in the Satellite Telecommunications or Data Communications Industry, ideally in connection with governments or public institutions Experience in the management of highly complex bid and projects in both the commercial and institutional environment Acquaintance with the environment dynamics and public award system related to the institutional tenders Existing contacts and relationships into the civil andor defence administrations on national or panregional levels Existing entries into European Commission andor the European Space Agency ESA Excellent interpersonal and communication skills oral and written, ability to interact with partners at all levels Ability to negotiate and close deals of high complexity at Senior Management level Ability to lead cross departmental and large bid teams, including external partners Proactive approach towards potential customers Problem solving skills ability to find creativepragmatic solutions along the principles and guidelines of the companyAbility to work independently with minimal supervision Computer literacy MS Office, MS Project Fluency in English any other language is considered as an asset Willing to travel internationally We offer you A diverse workplace.
