The position is located in Bremen, Germany. Our client is a new joint venture between two large European space companies. Using their long heritage in the space industry, they are developing the nextgeneration European launchers and manned space vehicles. They have several offices in Germany and France, those in Germany are located in Bremen and Munich. Tasks and Responsibilities As Quality Inspector you are responsible for the inspections of mechanical components, up to and including delivery of the product, for the Ariane programme. Examination of incoming parts and processing into SAP Identification of deviations of products, equipment, assembly fixtures and tools Testing, documentation and archiving of the approved components Flow control and risk mitigation in the workshop Root cause analysis and proposing corrective, preventive and improvement measures. Requirements A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent At least 2 years of work experience as a Quality Inspector in the space industry Strong knowledge of SAP The ability to meet objectives on schedule and to achieve and coordinate workflows efficiently Strong communication skills to work with different counterparts at all corporate levels Assertive and persuasive personality Fluency in English, both verbal and in writing German language skills are an advantage.
