In a double whammy of bad news, it seems that Microsoft has been forced to cut the price of Windows and Office licenses to spur the adoption of Windows 8 -- and Samsung, citing lack of consumer interest, has pulled its Windows RT tablet from Germany and 'additional European countries.'
