Tamluk, Nov. 7: The Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation plant in Haldia today signed a three-year wage agreement with the Trinamul and CPM unions after two years of negotiations, the labour wings scaling down their demands at a time another factory in the area has suspended work citing union trouble. The wage agreement, which was supposed to be signed in January 2013, was inked today at a tripartite meeting of Mitsubishi officials, representatives of the INTTUC and Citu unions and the government.
