NYC real estate market posted record gains in 2014

More properties were sold in the five boroughs than ever before, while the value of those deals soared by an average of 20%, according to a new report by commercial brokerage Cushman & Wakefield. "This was the best investment sales market we have seen in the past 30 years," said Bob Knakal, chairman of New York investment sales for Cushman.
