Summary An experienced Navigation Systems expert minimum 15 years commercial experience looking for an exciting career in the development of satellite navigation related applications, services and systems. Objective To grow and deliver the Navigation Systems capability within Telespazio VEGA UK. Responsibilities Duties Develop the strategy to address navigation market working closely Sales Preparation of proposals to win new Navigation work including Positioning for upcoming proposals ahead of ITT release Understanding of ITT requirements Identifying and working with partners as necessary Specification and costing of the solution Writing clear, concise, management technical proposals to express the solution and its benefits to the client Identification of new products and services including the identification of funding opportunities. Development of business cases for new products and services Project management and technical leadership of Navigation projects Responsible for delivery of the project to schedule, budgeted effort and quality requirements. Point of contact with the client Production of documents System Design Authority responsible for the overall design of the system and its compliance to requirements and any applicable legislation. Preparing for and presentationclose out of formal technical milestone reviews Support to other proposals and project activities as required including nonNavigation Qualifications Experience Minimum of 15 years commercial experience working in the field of Navigations Systems, Applications and Services Established network with the Navigation field, preferably with membership of relevant institutions and bodies. Strong understanding of the UK and Europe institutional and government funding lines and programmes Proven track record of delivering studies and developing applications services in the navigation field Degree qualified relevant degree. SC clearance preferable.
