Netflix to up prices in the US, much of Latin America - report

(Telecompaper) Netflix will be lifting its prices in the US by 13-18 percent, the Associated Press reported. Prices will go up with immediate effect for all new subscribers and then roll out to existing customers over the next three months. Customers in about 40 Latin American countries where Netflix bills in US dollars will also be affected, except key markets such as Mexico and Brazil.
