New Jersey hospital loses patient data

The disc was sent to a company used by the state to review payments and United Parcel Service failed to deliver it on June 16. A hospital spokesman tells The Star-Ledger of Newark Medicaid patients who were treated at the hospital in 2011 are advised to monitor their credit reports and financial accounts.
