Using WITS-compliant devices, OPC Server for Well site Information Transfer Specification provides open data connectivity to well site data systems. Program features support for communications through TCP/IP, UDP, and/or serial channels, as well as simultaneous support for WITS Level 0 compliant active and passive devices. Application areas include geology, drilling, cementing, and electronic data recorders that capture logging while drilling and measurement while drilling data.
