Role Description Summary The OSS System Architect mPOWER role is to design and drive the implementation of a new OSS landscape for the NOC Operations group inside SES, ready for the commencement of the O3b mPOWER system. The role is a key SME function inside a dedicated program team that leads the O3b mPOWER program as part of the ongoing forward thinking strategy of SES and whilst in the earlier instance is a program role it will develop into an operational functional role upon commencement of the O3b mPOWER system. With the aim of aligning all operational elements inside SES the individual will also be playing a key role in the migration of and integration of the operational groups inside SES, covering areas such as systems, tools and processes. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES KEY RESULT AREAS Understand the current SES OSS roadmap and strategy and align this through to O3b mPOWER program Guide the O3b mPOWER Service readiness program into a transformation roadmap complete with a defined scope and associated risks Be the voice of mPOWER OSS throughout the organisational design and transformation program. Plan and engage in workshops with other enterprise architects, product vendors and 3rd party SMEs finalizing Program phases. Create and drive business use cases on behalf of the O3b mPOWER service readiness program. Define migration strategy for O3b mPOWER Operations into a new and forwardthinking OSS landscape. Input all relevant OSS requirements to the relevant groups inside SES Once requirements are aligned and inside the broader program, drive those OSS requirements on behalf of the program. Support delivery and program management with timeframe estimations and project scope. Collaborate with and lead technical experts to develop detailed specifications. COMPETENCIES Proven experience successfully delivering and managing large OSSBSS systems Inspires and drives teams to build good participation and working relationships across the Regions Displays a strong commitment to the success of SES and inspires others to commit to the organisations goals QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 12 years solid experience in OSS domain with at least 8 years in the Lead OSS Architect capacity Degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience Handson experience in at least one of the area of OSS domain Inventory, ProvisioningActivation, Order Management, FaultPerformance management, etc. Experience leading complex OSS TransformationIT Simplification program in the Lead Solution Architect capacity Apply HERE
