Ajilon Technology Aerospace is looking for PA Safety Support Engineer E3 for an opportunity at the European Space Agency ESRIN in Rome, Italy Ajilon Technology Aerospace is a specialized Engineering consultancy with more than 30 years experience providing aerospace Engineers to our key partners in Europe. Ajilon is a longstanding business partner of the European Space Agency ESA, with more than 100 employees recruited from across Europe currently supporting ESAs activities. General tasks to be performed o Support to the Vega PA S Manager for designated projects in conducting, monitoring assessing the implementation of the PA Safety Programme for VEGA Development Programme LAUDV Vega Exploitation Programmeactivities LAUEV. o Monitor the contractors Launcher and Ground Segment PAS programme in order to assess their performanceeffectiveness, proposing the necessary preventive or corrective actions o Analyse contractors Management PA plans in order to verify their compliance to ESA PA Requirements and the correct application of Management specifications o Verify the proper application of industrial PA Quality Assurance plans, support preparation of project reviews and to participate to subsystem and system reviews, as requested, participate to PA and project progress meetings, organizing industrial quality meetings as requested, attend selected mandatory inspection points as MRR, TRR, TRB and acceptance reviews of deliverable items, as well as system or subsystem test campaign o Attend the Boards established within the projects for the disposition of Nonconformances anomalies o Provide QA support and surveillance in Subsystems and System validation tests campaigns o Contribute to maintenancepreparation of the VEGA lessons learnt repository and contribute to RAMS studies followup, to check critical Point Log updates o To participate to the Configuration Control Board when Change Proposals affecting PA requirements are discussed and Support PA Manager in the preparation of weekly and Monthly reports. o Maintain the waiver data base and to manage the approval of the waivers submitted to Customer for evaluation assessment both for Development and Exploitation programmes o Participate upon request to Audits of the VEGA project both as team member and as chairman Specific tasks to be performed o Supporting the organisation management of the support from all PA disciplines o Controlling NCR Waivers Problems Critical Items. Produce meeting agendas, check that all inputs are available for the NRB or CCB, check that all needed participants are involved, produce NRB or CCB minutes of meeting, followup on actions identified, ensure proper nonconformancewavierproblemcritical item closeout. Produce also reports on control activities performed. o PA for the verification, qualification, acceptance delivery activities. The launch campaign. o Participating in progress meetings and CCB meetings. o Produce inputs to the meeting and whenever requested, produce meeting agendas, check that all inputs are available, check that all needed participants are involved, produce minutes of meeting, followup on actions identified, ensure proper closeout. o Participating in all project reviews, including safety reviews. Produce reports on all review activities performed e.g. documents reviewed, checklists used, spot check performed, conclusions and recommendations. o Reporting project PA status deviations from plan schedule of all of above. To successfully perform the above mentioned tasks, the following background experience is required o As per Job Class in engineering or technical sciences. o Minimum of 6 years experience in Product Assurance and Quality Assurance in the aerospace domain. o Good interpersonal, organisation and communication skills o The ability to work in a diverse team environment. o Knowledge of Configuration Management or the implementation of Product Assurance within a quality system certified to ISO 9001 would be an asset.
