Main Responsibilities The scope of work will include Provide system engineering support to the PDGS Payload Data Ground Segment Common Services Review Technical documentation and actively participate to support PDGS maintenance and evolution activities and projects Support elaboration of SoWs with the provisioning of high level technical specifications and other applicable and reference documents for software evolutions Contributing to support the maintenance of high level PDGS Common Services technical documentation i.e. end to end operational scenarios, functional specifications, operational concepts, Support ESA TellUS ServiceNow implementation of the PDGS Common Services processes management tool technical activities like o Routine monitoring and housekeeping of TellUS instances in production, test and development including support for ServiceNow version upgrades and other changes o Routine monitoring and housekeeping of TellUS integration with other PDGS components and data input for statistics and reporting o Firstline support to TellUS operators including preparation and delivery of training when requested o Implementation of minor TellUS evolution and maintenance tasks in particular relating to TellUS core processes service catalogue, incidents, problems, changes and releases o Development and maintenance of selected TellUS scripts both on the platform and in the data import function o Acceptance testing of new ServiceNow releases and TellUS maintenance and evolution output o Preparation, maintenance and evolution of TellUS dashboards and reports o Maintenance of TellUS system documentation Provide Engineering Support to ESA in the execution of adhoc activities derived from the change control board processes Successful Candidate The following skills and experience are mandatory At least Master level or equivalent in a relevant technical or scientific discipline e.g. Space system engineering. Good general knowledge of ESA PDGSs. Strong and demonstrated background in system engineering. Experience with programming and technical applications Teamwork. Good communication and technical writing skills with capabilities to synthesize. Good organization skills. Methodical and proactive, with initiative and capability to work autonomously. Problemsolving and creativityoriented attitude. Proficiency in written and spoken English. The following skills would be highly desirable Experience in ESA internal engineering processes. Knowledge of Earth Observation context Experience in ESA applied standards e.g. ECSS and applications e.g. ServiceNowTellUS Important Any offer of employment is contingent upon you providing documents to verify your identity and employment eligibility, as required by law.
