Pakistan Apparel Exports in 2nd Quarter 2019 (Quarterly Report)

2019-10-29 17:15:03| EmergingTextiles.com

Apparel exports from Pakistan have continued significantly rising in the first half of the year, mostly due to strong sales of knit clothing to the US and EU markets. Benefiting from duty-free access to the European Union, the low-income country remains excessively dependent on cotton apparel production and on Western markets, nevertheless. Our statistical series provide a comprehensive view of Pakistan's clothing exports in the 2nd quarter 2015-2019, including volume, value, and unit value changes per destination. Knit, woven, and total apparel exports are separately displayed. Data also include US and EU clothing imports from the country per product category, whereas a comprehensive benchmark comparison with other origins is released. All data are available for download.
