Job Description Primary Purpose of the Role Joining the systems team of Thales Alenia Space in the UK and working on a number of fascinating Earth Observation Mission or National UK Mission, the payload RF engineer will have the following responsibilities Perform RF link budget computation and conduct associated tradeoffs Contribute to RF subsystem architecture, provide inputs for hardware selection antenna including the application of Sparameters analysis Take into account EMC requirements within the design Manage interfaces between subsystems Manage customer requirements and devolve these into subsystem requirements Support integration and verification strategy for the RF subsystems Support bids providing technical insight as well as costing inputs Deliver defined tasks to budget schedule Knowledge in data handling is an asset The position will be based at the TASUK Bristol office but up to 10 of work may need to be conducted at subcontractors or customer premises, typically in UK or Europe.
