Featuring micro-step drive and 1.3 m focal length, Model 209 can make wavelength steps as small as 0.1 picometers. Wavelength steps are linear for uniform moves over thousands of nanometers, simplifying software control. Spectrometer supports homing for wavelength calibration, and micro-step controller accepts ASCII commands. Via software commands, user can specify speed, direction, and step size increment. LabVIEW™ libraries and program examples for text-based programming are available.
