Piedmont Natural Gas plans equity sales as capital projects ramp up

Karl Newlin, CFO of Piedmont Natural Gas, says the company will sell up to $170 million worth of equity through 2016. Piedmont Natural Gas plans to sell additional equity and raise debt over the next two years to pay for major capital spending projects and maintain its debt-to-equity ratio.
