Take advantage of this great opportunity to lead a complex satellite launch and commissioning programme. EUMETSAT, Europes Meteorological Satellite Agency, is recruiting a Programme Manager for METOPC the third in a series of three polar orbiting spacecraft. The successful candidate shall be expected to interface with ESA, CNES, NOAA and Industry partners to ensure all aspects of the programme launch, postlaunch, commissioning and handover to routine operations are coordinated. This is a rewarding and high profile position, suitable for candidates with excellent communication skills who are confident representing EUMETSAT to other industry professionals and partners. The successful candidate shall have a good domain knowledge, enabling them to cope with the complex set up, they shall also have great leadership and decision making skills. All candidates require a university degree, or equivalent, in a relevant discipline along with skills and experience in the following areas Proven experience in the development of satellite systems space and ground segment, preferably Earth Observation systems, including successful experience in project andor programme management Proven ability to plan and manage complex development projects under schedule, quality and cost constraints. All applicants must be EUMETSAT member state nationals and have a good working knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written.
