Power Engineer Deadline for applications ASAP Client and Location For one of our customers we are currently recruiting a Power Engineer for their location in Bremen, Germany. The Power Engineer will be working as avionics system engineer technical authority at Subsystem level during the life cycle of projects with the focus on power avionics and has technical responsibility for developing the power Subsystem and ensuring its consistency through design, integration and validation phases. Tasks and Responsibilities Analyze customer requirements Generate Subsystem and Equipment specifications Ensure consistency of the Subsystem with System level and Equipment level Elaboration of technical concepts Perform analyses and tradeoffs of best technical solution versus cost effectiveness Manage technical relationship with customers Generation of documentation as per the common space standards e.g. ECSS and customer requirements, e.g. definition of electrical interfaces internal, external, power budgets Prepare and perform Subsystem design reviews for the power perimeter in relation to the whole review process Ensure successful Subsystem verification closeout for the power perimeter Support equipment design reviews and evaluate equipment verification closeouts Risk evaluation and definition of counter measures. Experience and Education At least a Master degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering At least one year of relevant experience Detailed knowledge of MS Office and DOORS Detailed knowledge of power simulation tools Fluent English Knowledge in the field of power engineering is mandatory Ability to operate in a large multinational team organization Work style characterized by autonomy, initiative, cooperation collaboration Very good communication and interpersonal skills and social competence.
