Job Description At the location of our client, the largest space company in Europe and a key player in the European satellite and launcher industry, a vacancy for a Procurement Contracts Manager. For this onsite position for our clients location in Ottobrunn, South Germany. Tasks and Responsibilities The job holder works as Procurement Contracts Manager. The task area is divided in detail as follows Design, negotiation and management of standard contracts Negotiation of the main contracts agreements taking into account the opportunities and risks for the Client Support of all purchasing departments in the negotiation of further procurement contracts agreement Conducting the contract review and assisting the buyer in contract management Advice and legal negotiations Ensuring compliance with appropriate contract review procedures prior to Contract signing Support for building and updating the contract database for all Procurement contracts in their field of activity Ensuring the flowdown of customer contracts and implementation of the resulting contractual and commercial strategies in all documents of the supply contract Legal, Finance, Insurance, Customs and Taxes support Support of commodity management in the preparation of tenders and Provision of the draft contract Evaluation of supplier offers in terms of contractual and commercial aspects Preparation of the contract closeout report and valuation of liquidated damages LDs Ensuring the formalities especially End User Statements for the export control department Participation in the contractual support of Supplier Evaluation and Development SED Process in case of need. Generation and maintenance of technical documentation. Requirements Completed professional education in Business Law or comparable qualification Minimum 3 years of experience with Legal System Good knowledge in contract law as well as commercial law Experience in the preparation of draft contracts and in the negotiation of Procurement contracts are required Ability to negotiate with suppliers and or clients in both institutional and also commercial area is required Experience in dealing with customers or suppliers as well as the need for deescalation conflicts are required Good knowledge and experience in procurementrelated topics, e.g. Legal review of supplier offers, contract negotiations, export control, supplier management, change processes are required Fluency in English is mandatory Knowledge of the German language would be an advantage.
