HE Space is a successful international space company. For over 30 years, we have been supporting our customers with qualified experts in the field of engineering, science and administration. We are currently looking for a ProcurementProject Manager to support our customer in the United Kingdom. Procurement Project Manager Key Tasks and Responsibilities HE Space is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead the procurement of a payload instrument. You will join an innovative and dynamic organisation in a senior role, reporting to the Director of Engineering. You will have the following responsibilities Lead the procurement of the payload liaising with suppliers and the end customer Oversee requirements at all levels including the verification and validation and acceptance Oversee the spacecraft interface compatibility with the space segment, platform, launch vehicle, ground segment and regulations Be the primary interface to the satellite manufacturers project team Ensure that the manufacturer adheres to the procurement contract requirements, delivering to schedule, cost and performance Responsible for all budgeting financial control of resources Management of change, to include RFW, RFD and CCNS in accordance with documented processes Proactively manage the resolution of major issues affecting quality, reliability, schedule, budget and performance Report to senior stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience Significant demonstrable experience of procurement management at subsystem or payload level within the satellite industry Experience of working to satellite contracts, requirements, statements of work and test plans Excellent interpersonal skills with experience of managing relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders Ability to demonstrate assertiveness when liaising with stakeholders Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
