Serco Nederland BV is looking for Product Assurance and Safety Support Engineer to support ESA in PA Safety Manager for designated projects in conducting, monitoring assessing the implementation of the PA Safety Programme. Task Overview Establishing the PAS requirements baseline for all elements of the project, in compliance with the ESA general Product Assurance and Safety policy Reviewing contractors plans, specifications and effort proposed for the execution of the project PAS programme Monitoring project PA status identify relevant PA issues, including NCR SPR Waivers Problems Critical Items and systematically tracking all items Assessing the implementation of PAS requirements by contractors, participating in design and safety reviews and directing the necessary preventive or corrective actions Representing ESA in the Boards established within the project for the disposition of Nonconformances Failure Reviews, Test Reviews, etc. Guiding and monitoring the application and procurement of EEE parts, materials and processes and controlling implementation of applicable requirements Monitoring the manufacturing, integration and test activities with quality assurance audits, mandatory and key inspection points, test witnessing and configuration inspections Defining the formal acceptance requirements and conducting the Acceptance Reviews of all contractual deliverable items Supporting the organisation management of the support from all PA disciplines Controlling NCR Waivers Problems Critical Items Produce meeting agendas, check that all inputs are available for the NRB or CCB, check that all needed participants are involved, produce NRB or CCB minutes of meeting, followup on actions identified, ensure proper nonconformancewavierproblemcritical item closeout PA for the verification, qualification, acceptance delivery activities Launch campaigns Participating in progress meetings and CCB meetings Participating in project reviews, including safety reviews Reporting project PA status Specific Tasks PA support surveillance of Payload integration, System tests, Launch campaign, AIT activities, NRBs Preparation activities for FAR Backupdeputy of LPFPA Manager Extensive travelling is required to integration, test facilities and launch site such as CGSMilanTortona Italy ASUStevenage England ASDFriedrichshafen Germany IABGMunich Germany CSGKourou French Guyana Qualifications and Requirements Applicants require a Masters degree in a relevant subject together with a minimum of 6 years experience in Product Assurance and Quality Assurance in the aerospace domain. Essential skills Excellent knowledge and experience in AIT work of spacecraft systems Good interpersonal, organisation and communication skills, with the ability to work in a diverse team environment Knowledge of Configuration Management Desirable skills Implementation of Product Assurance within a quality system certified to ISO 9001 English is the working language in ESA, however for this opportunity knowledge of German and French would be an asset.
