Security Clearance Requires a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance Program Manager United States Reston, Virginia Context The Program Manager leadsmanages all aspects of complex Satellite Communications SATCOM services for US Government customers. The Program Manager orchestrates the design, implementation, transition, operation and maintenance of complete endtoend SATCOM networks for USG customers and supports related business development efforts. ExperienceQualifications Bachelors Degree in Technical Management or relevant field, or 1012 years programproject management experience in government contracting operations Project Management Professional PMP certification or Defense Acquisition University DAU equivalent 10 years experience in the U.S. Government or Commercial industry SATCOM industry Extensive knowledgecritical understanding of DoD SATCOM program demands Extensive business development experience including leading proposal captures Extensive experience managing profit and loss on U.S. Government contracts Experience implementing and delivering customer managed services Experience in the design, implementation and maintenance of global, enterprise, endtoend satellite communications solutions including space segment, ground segment, operational services, information assurance and all program related tasks Knowledge of systems engineering and risk management principals Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to think strategically to meet customer demands Strong emphasis placed on follow through responsibilities based on task priorities Selfmotivated ability to deliver in a fast paced environment with emphasis on follow through responsibilities based on management direction Able to work independently must possess multitasking skills Displays excellent judgement and makes sound decisions Displays exceptional communication skills and has experience effectively working with US Government customers. Indepth understanding of internal matrixed work processes must be able to work with other departments within SES GS and the broader SES staff Results orientation with a drive and passion to make stretch commitments and demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding work Proficient knowledge of MS Office 365 suite and MS Project required Ability to work in front of a computer for long periods of time Up to 20 travel required Essential Job Functions Leads all aspects of program implementation from planning to operations and maintenance for the full program life cycle In concert with Sales and Business Development team members, may lead or support any aspect of the business development cycle for assigned programs Promotes business development thru exceptional customer relations, and grows the business on existing and new contract vehicles Manages cost, schedule, performance, risk and stakeholder expectations on assigned programs Develops and executes comprehensive Program Management plans that provide the roadmap to meeting customer program requirements on time and within budget Acts as primary customer interface within customer programs coordinates periodic meetings, provides required status reports and ensures customer issues are addressedresolved in a timely fashion and within contract parameters Institutes industry project management principles in accordance with corporate policies Interfaces with key vendors in coordination with company procurementcontracts to ensure requirements are delivered on time and within budget Interfaces with company senior management pertaining to assigned programs to report program performance technical and financial Developsimproves program management procedures with customer programs Identifies opportunities within customer programs and works with the program team to propose solutions to grow the program Works closely with assigned government agencies, vendors and internal staff to oversee and coordinate all functions related to client programs Manages programs, including PL, and identifies new sales opportunities Provides expert servicesguidance through facilitation, analysis and program reviews Promotes the utilization of project management standards across programs to include communications, quality and risk assessment strategies Provides expert services and leadership to the project team, as appropriate, through facilitation, information sharing, analysis and reviews Heshe will employ the utilization of SES GS project management standards across the full scope of customer requirements SES GS and its Affiliated Companies are committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
